A new template is added with "ADD A TEMPLATE" or "+" buttons.

 
 
 A template can be removed or edited with the use of context menu, which is available after pressing icon

 
 Removal is irreversible. All documents created by the template are saved in a database. If "Delete" button was pressed accidentaly, the removal process can be stopped. .

 
 
    Editing a template
 Template name - is a required parameter. TEMPLATE NAME is used to identify the type of the document and to select a type of document, which needs to be created, from the context menu.

 A template is a set of html-tables with different numer of rows and columns. A number tables is unlimited and can be used to simplify template editing process. A template for Invoice, which is included into DocDesigner by default, consists of three tables, for example.
 Adding a new table and setting it's initial parameters is done with an icon in the toolbar or with a context menu available by a right mouse click.

 
 
 For the use of the table content of DEAL or LEAD, html- table requires a certain structure.

 A table with a required structure can be added by flagging "PRODUCTS " in general settings of the added table.

 
 After adding the table can be edited.
 
 A template can contain different text and settings formatting options. Availability of options is determined by the domain using a template . All options are available in the context menu. The insert of an option is done by right mouse button click and selection of the desired option from the drop down menu. All options are described in the menu. The options are inserted in a specific format. In the case of manual editing of any option, its functinning may be damaged.

 
  Template Settings
 PAGE - is used to set page layout: portrait / landscape.
 NUMERATOR - sets a numbering algorithm or disables a numbering in case of "DO NOT USE"-option selection.
 FILE NAME - specifies a prefix of the created PDF file. If prefix is not specified then the internal identifier of the template will be used.

 
 
  Domain of a Template
 One template can be assigned separately to multiple types of CRM objects. The availability of template for different CRM objects manages a set of options in the context menu while editing a template and also a list of documents' types while creation a document from the CRM list.

 
 
    Additional Parameters
 Each template can be expanded with any number of additional parameters. The parameters can be added even if documents already exist. New parameters are added automatically, and become available to fill out. Removal of parameters in the template results in removal of the corresponding data in generated documents.

  PARAMETER'S ID - must be specified in English without the use of spaces, punctuation marks and other symbols.
 TITLE - the description of the parameter. The specified description will be used the context menu. If the description is not specified, the parameter's ID will be used in the context menu.
 If the ID is not specified, and the description is specified - the parameter will not appear in the context menu, and will not be saved after template editing.
